0:16 Speaker 1: is more important than ever. This is a Bruins tape

0:31 Speaker 2: the Bruins dropped another game, this time to their rivals,

0:36 Speaker 2: the Montreal Canadians by a score of four to two one.

0:41 Speaker 2: While the first period was very entertaining and very competitive hockey,

0:47 Speaker 2: a typical Bruins Canadians game, where there was they were

0:52 Speaker 2: scoring opportunities up and down the ice, there was physicality,

0:57 Speaker 2: there was a lot of chirping. But after the first period,

1:02 Speaker 2: things went downhill for the Boston Bruins, and if it

1:06 Speaker 2: wasn't for Jeremy Swayman and his solid goaltending, the game

1:12 Speaker 2: would have been off the rails a lot sooner than

1:16 Speaker 2: it was. In the second period, the Boston Bruins could

1:20 Speaker 2: only manage two two shots on goal, while the Montreal

1:26 Speaker 2: Canadians managed seventeen shots on goal. To say that the

1:31 Speaker 2: Canadians owned the Bruins in that second period is an understatement.

1:36 Speaker 2: The Montreal Canadians are trending in the right direction with

1:41 Speaker 2: regard to their rebuild, while the Boston Bruins are seemingly

1:46 Speaker 2: lost right now with whatever they are doing in terms.

1:50 Speaker 1: Of a rebuild.

1:51 Speaker 2: But be that as it may. The silver lining in

1:55 Speaker 2: this game is that Jeremy Swayman had what is arguably

2:02 Speaker 2: a candidate for Save of the Year when he made

2:07 Speaker 2: a spectacular glove save on Carrier. I believe it was

2:13 Speaker 2: in that second period, unbelievable save by Jeremy Swayman, and

2:18 Speaker 2: that is going to be replayed in highlights on NHL

2:22 Speaker 2: Network and ESPN over and over again. So job well

2:27 Speaker 2: done by Jeremy Swayman. I haven't been giving him much

2:30 Speaker 2: love of late, but he was the one bright spot

2:34 Speaker 2: in this game against the Canadians. Other than that, it

2:38 Speaker 2: was the typical what we have been seeing from the Bruins.

2:43 Speaker 2: An inability to muster any offensive pressure at all, an

2:49 Speaker 2: inability to win puck battles both in the offensive zone

2:54 Speaker 2: and in this defensive zone, and the inability to muster

3:00 Speaker 2: or any type of defensive coverage in front of their goalie.

3:04 Speaker 2: All in all, not a great game to watch, folks,

3:08 Speaker 2: and one game that I think we are going to

3:12 Speaker 2: be seeing these instances over and over again for the

3:17 Speaker 2: remainder of the season. So buckle up, folks, because this

3:21 Speaker 2: will not likely be a fun finish to the Boston

3:25 Speaker 2: Bruins season.

3:28 Speaker 1: Bruins played Montreal in the Centennial Game, but that was

3:32 Speaker 1: only back on December first, Alas it was indeed this season,

3:37 Speaker 1: and in a bizarrely fitting end, the Bees are on

3:40 Speaker 1: the verge of matching, if not surpassing the franchise record

3:45 Speaker 1: for longest losing streak in team history, which was set

3:49 Speaker 1: back during the inaugural season. Thanks, I guess to a

4:00 Speaker 1: eliminated from playoff contention, Boston hosts Carolina on Saturday, April fifth.

4:09 Speaker 1: game on April second. Considering the difficulties that the Bees

4:13 Speaker 1: have had all season against the Hurricanes. One can only

4:17 Speaker 1: assume it will be a bloodbath. We have six games
