The Finish Line is Upon Us - Finally | Snap Shots Episode 48

0:00 Speaker 1: Much like Jordan Belfort dragging himself to his Lamborghini in The Wolf of Wall Street, here we are dragging ourselves to the final game of the season. After a ho hum win in Pittsburgh, the Bruins are back home to play against the Devils. This is a Bruins tape to tape snapshot.

0:20 Speaker 2: In the interest of full disclosure, I spent much more time on Sunday watching the Masters Tournament than I did the Boston Bruins four to one victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. But I did watch enough of the game to see that the trio of Elias Lindholm, Morgan Geek, and David Pastronach are really enjoying playing with each other. Pasta has extended his point streak to five games, Morgan Geek extended his goalscoring streak too, five games, and honestly, folks, don Sweeney's guy must be clenching every time that Geeky scores because his price tag invariably seems to be going up.

1:09 Speaker 2: So Donnie Boy is either getting sick to his stomach or maybe trying to come up with a devious way in potentially trying to nickel and dime Morgan geeky, but be that as it may, that threesome has been fun to watch in the waning games of this season. Joannis Copersalo also did a very good job in net once again for the Bruins, and he too has been pretty consistent for the Boston Bruins in his backup role. All in all, I guess a win is a win. Fabian Lycel also congratulations to him for scoring his first NHL goal, and he seems to have amped up his game whether or not someone's had a conversation with him, but his efforts in the last handful of games has been much better and seeing improvements from this young player.

2:14 Speaker 2: And ye Jacob Blaco finished off the game with an empty net goal, so all in all it was a win. I'm not quite sure that I could refer to it as a very good hockey game because it was difficult to watch two not so good teams playing the sport that we love. But all in all, a win is a win. One game to go, folks to end this season.

2:44 Speaker 1: Indeed, there isn't much more to add since their last matchup, the Devils have punched their ticket to the postseason, so once again, who knows what kind of game we're going to see from the Bruins. In fact, prior to the Pittsburgh game, even Joe Sacho said he couldn't predict what kind of game we would see. Not exactly a vote of confidence.
